Fence Panel - The assembly of parts that fill the area between the posts also referred to as "a fence section".

Stringer - The material that is used to hold the Fence Panel facing material.

Fence Line - One (1) side of a yard where fence is to be installed.

Cover Slat - The picket that spans the space between face nailed Panels.

Picket - A single piece of the material used to face the fence panel. also referred to as "a slat".

Gate opening - the space needed to accommodate the gate and related hardware. usually 1 1/2" more than the actual gate panel.
